I live in Toronto, and what you wear is really up to you. It depends on where you're going, but if you just want to hang out in town, go shopping and see the sights- then wear whatever's most comfortable-- jeans, sweaters.

It's been really cold these past couple of days, so bring a nice warm jacket! Maybe even a hat and some mittens.

Of course, if you're going out and night somewhere trendy, I'd dress up a bit more-- but it's all really up to individual style. Everyone here's accepting.

The hair is all lengths - no point changing for that. Flat hair is still pretty common. As people have been saying, it's turned cold (5-10C), so a cool coat, scarf and maybe a hat is the best thing. Otherwise, it depends if you're going to a club, trendy restaurant or just seeing the sights. Comfort can be important if you're doing a lot of walking. There are all sorts of people here, so it's very difficult to stand out like a sore thumb...unless maybe you dress like you're going to a county fair. :-) You can save that for the CNE next August. Most dress in a comfortable/casual way. Jeans. T-shirts. Sweatshirts. You may want to dress warm though as we get into colder weather in the fall warm coat and good walking shoes. Most nightclubs have dress codes so you may want to take a backpack with a bit of a dressier but comfortable change. Other then that there is a wide variety of styles, but the key is to be comfortable.
