Hey guys,

As you know, its that time of year again, where everyone can be what the hell they want without being called a s***!! lol But seriously folks, I want to be some sort of doll for halloween. Either a ragdoll or marionette (leaning more towards ragdoll) of some sort. Before you post suggestions, there are a few things to keep in mind about me. I'm short (around 5ft), half african/half azn (so i have a light brown complection), teen (senior highsckool student)..and ya that's pretty much it. I have some what of a good costume idea for a ragdoll but need major help in the makeup/accessories department. I'm planning to go pick out some stuff this weekend so any ideas would be appreciated.

P.S. - What should I do about hair? Wig, Ponytails? (I have shoulder length black thick hair that can be striaghten or curled)

Hair should defintely be in ponytails.

I wanted to be Baby jane hudson. She is cool but my work said no. go to goodwill look for the dress and shoes, the wig at a costume shop, ribbon for the dress and hair any sewing store, then just really white makeup with blue eye shadow and red lips.

Red yarn wig for sure--make your own with cap --I used a stocking from an old pair of pantyhose and made me a fitted cap--then you can glue or sew on the yarn but make sure the lengths are right then you can cut ti afterward to suit the rag doll hairstyle--rag dolls have hair that just drops!that has red yarn glued on it--make sure you make bangs in front---you will need black eyebrow pencil and light make up and rouge for cheeks--or blusher--look at a pic of a raggedy ann doll and you will figure the make up out! Make sure you have a pinafore type dress--red white checked material with a white pinafore over it is best! black kiddie looking shoes with rounded at toes and white tights-- carry a rag doll for extra benefit! A big sucker would be good too--prob you can get that at a drugstore or a dollar store! Some rag dolls look happy and some sad--you will have to choose which you wanna be! Good luck to ya
