try looking at magazines geared toward the age group you are trying to look like. Also, talk to hair and makeup artists to find out the latest looks for a college girl hair do and makeup. just be comfortable first and formost in your decision.

Go with shorter hair. Wear those short Jackets with tank tops. Carry a large purse, kinda like a satchel. Go with olive green colors and browns. Make your eyes pop. Maybe go to a make-up counter and have someone show u how to apply. Just be yourself. Have confidence in who you are. You sound pretty cool:)

it's hard to answer without seeing what you really look like. I would suggest keeping your hair tied unless it's very obedient hair. Always carry the basics with you - lipgloss, hairbrush/comb, perfume, tissues, eye/lip pencil, a small hair-clip.

Remember that you'll only look as good as your skin %26amp; hygiene is, so carry chewing gum and drink lots of water.

As for the makeup itself, don't go overboard, use what suits you to maximize your natural looks. Otherwise you can end up looking like a clown. The only way to put on make up smoothly is with practice. So do that at home on the weekends, and you can use magazines to try out the looks that you find good.

If you live in a really hot country, then you want to use sunblock on top of your moisturizer, and avoid liquid washable eyeliners, mascara etc.. because you'll sweat.

A good hairstyle will make a big difference to your looks - just make sure it is a good hair CUT and not a good hair STYLE - coz if the cut is basic and the hairdresser spends 1 hr styling your hair, you can be sure you will never look like that on any other day because how will re-create that style every morning?? So it's much more important that the CUT is good so you can just wash, dry and minimally style it in a short amount of time.

Good luck.

You said your face is small so it's better to put your hair up, any style you like just as long as it shows your face, If you did your your hair down it would cover your face and make it look smaller, About the clothes, Since you said your face was small , I'm thinking your pretty short too ryt, now to look mature like a college student should be and at the same time look taller, wear some skirt, it could be mini, or knee high, If you don't like showing off you legs, then try a skirt a few inches below your knees, could be pleated or the ones that looked a little crumpled and have a few laces or ruffle designs on them, I'm not really sure which ones make your hips look nicer, And then as for the tops, I suggest off-shoulders, that have light colors since it's a very hot season this May, or maybe tank tops, and for shous, flip flops, sandals, anything open, and add a few retro accesories, stuff like long shell necklaces, It's your decision to add accesories though.

My suggestion is to look the way that you like yourself. You do not need to imitate others. Wear what you like to wear and have the accessories that you love. College is not as bad as high school. You do not need to be trendy to be popular.

just experiment and see what you like. dont copy magazines and other people. create your own style! it's alot more fun!!
