well i think you should wear a colorful printed spring dress..most spring dresses would look good with wedge heels if the formal isn't too fancy..f it is then you should wear a one color, fitted dress about to your knees. you should probably wear a pearl necklace (small pearl necklace if it is formal and a big chunky pearl necklace if it isn't too formal) you should curl your hair i think if it is brunette, wear it straight if it is blonde or wear it wavy if your hair is black

HEY! im an 8th grader too. i got my dress from jessica mcclintock. I absolutely love their dresses and its def. perfect if your especially a girly-girl or just plain-glam. they have many different dresses for cocktail, graduation, prom, or wedding. since i have a strapless dress, i would put my hair down and then have it professinally done into curly waves. for shoes i would get NOT SO HIGH heels because if you fall in front of everyone, trust me, it is not going to funny. accessories, i would just get a pair of earrings and necklace. you dont want to over-accerorize. im going to my jewerly from juicy couture because they have the cutuest earrings and necklaces. also, for skin, im going to get a pedicure (get it if your going to wear open-toed shoes) and a manicure, of course.

The dress shouldn't be too long or too short. for acseccoris, gold hoop eerings would look hot, but the hoops should be too big. you should also aget a clean french manicure. a small chain would be good. No big or long necklaces with those hhuge beeds. Fo your hair , you should get a camel hump in the front like the pic. of my avitar(just in case you don't know the pic. of the person to the left) and the back it should be super straight. all of this can be done and found for cheap in the mall.

i don't know much about outfits, but for your hair, put in curlers and as you take each curler out, divide and curl that one section of hair with curling iron. it is really cute and people will notice you!! for the accessories go to claires or icing. best stores for accessories ANYWHERE!!
