50s theme party ideas?

I've been looking like crazy online for 50s clothing and i can't find anything. I'm 14 and I'm looking for a nice dress from the fifties and maybe some accessory ideas and hair ideas? I'd really appreciate it!

I would skip on-line and just go to a vintage clothing store. Let the clerk know what you are looking for and they should be able to help. Another option might be to ask your grandmother if she has anything hiding in her closet yet from the 50's. (FYI - My Mom still has a suit from her honeymoon trip that I have worn to 50's parties!!)

For hair idea's, go on-line and find some older 50's television shows, like I LOVE LUCY! Or search some old 50's movies such as ANYTHING by Alfred Hitchcock!! Or even look up the movie American Graffiti or the tv show Happy Days!! They were set in the 50's. And any still shots from that movie are bound to give you ideas on clothes and hair.
